Role: Graphic Designer | Personal Project: Scooby-Doo Movie Poster
What if in 2005, instead of reimagining Batman, Christopher Nolan set his sights on a group of meddling kids and they're talking dog? What kind of movie would that be? Maybe Shaggy deals with a crippling heroin addiction. Perhaps Fred and Daphne have an illegitimate child. What if instead of the main antagonist being a disgruntled groundskeeper it's an ancient cosmic being of immense power and malevolence? It's not the pointless reboot we need. It's the pointless reboot we deserve.
This poster was a personal project and part of a running series in which I take beloved childhood tv shows and reimagine them for the modern big screen experience.
James Gunn, director of Guardians of the Galaxy and writer of a previous Scobby Doo movie adaption, has shown his approval.
